I'd like to say a heartfelt thankyou to all speakers and all attendees who made this possible, as well as the LCA2010 team.

See you all in Perth next year!

If you're speaking at the DS&R miniconf, this information should be of use to you :-)

The miniconf will be held in the Civic Suites 1 & 2 room of the Town Hall. That is the building next door to the keynote venue. Please ensure you're at the room at least 15 minutes before the start of your session.

If you have slides, please create a PDF version and attach it to your proposal on the website. This means a backup is available online in case of a problem!

The following equipment is available in the room:

Preliminary Program Published

Oct 31 2009

The preliminary storage miniconf program is now available, including an iCal feed for those that want it.

I'm excited by the talks, I think there's a nice spread of topics and I hope you agree :-)

There is still space for lightning talks, so if you know you'll be at LCA in Wellington and you have something to share, please submit it. If you're not sure yet, you can always sign up for a lightning talk on the day.

C4P closed - accepting lightning talks

Oct 26 2009

The call for proposals is now more or less officially closed and submission review has started.

If you want to participate, the c4p form will still allow you to submit a 5 minute lightning talk.

The linux.conf.au organisers have given all miniconfs an additional few weeks to spruik for more proposal submissions, huzza!

So if you didn't submit a proposal because you weren't sure whether you'd be able to attend LCA2010, you now have until October 23 to convince your boss to send you and get your proposal in.
